Tuition

As stated in the Enrollment Agreement, tuition cost includes the registration fee, books and supplies, Additional Costs listed below are not included in the cost of tuition.  Career guidance and placement are also provided to students and/or graduates at no extra charge.  Each individual student will be responsible for their own transportation to and from our facilities, meals, housing and incidental expenses, not related to training.

Each student must pay the full tuition or arrange for tuition financing prior to commencement of the training program.  The Academy financial officer/director will provide assistance to the student regarding payment of tuition.

Class A CDL Academy students are not eligible for Title IV loans or grants. Job Placement assistance is available. Students are requested to complete employment applications immediately after the start of training. Additionally, placement services are available for graduates. 

Housing/Lodging/Transportation/Stipend are not included in the tuition and cannot be included in amount to be financed. Housing is recommended for students traveling over 50 miles one-way per day. Housing costs (double-occupancy rate) is $870.00 for the four week period of training as shown above. Single occupancy rooms are available at additional cost.

Cancellation Policy

•    All monies paid to The Academy will be refunded to the applicant if he/she is not accepted for admission
•    If a student is unable to pass the DOT physical examination; all tuition paid will be refunded upon proof of failure to pass, less any out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the student to facilitate the exam
•    If a course is canceled or discontinued by Class A CDL Academy, all tuition monies paid towards said course will be refunded, unless the training program is planned for reinstatement of the course within 120 days of original course dates
•    In order to calculate any refund, The Academy will use the effective date of cancellation as the earliest of the following:
     -    Date of receipt of notice of cancellation by the student under the above listed circumstances
     -    Last date of actual attendance by the student

Refund Policy

•    If an applicant is not accepted by Class A CDL Academy, all monies paid by the applicant will be refunded
•    If the applicant notifies the school of the desire to cancel the Enrollment Agreement, in any form, within three (3) business days of signing the agreement, all monies paid by the applicant will be refunded
•    In order to calculate any refund, The Academy will use the effective date of cancellation as the earliest of the following:
     -    Date of receipt of notice of cancellation by the student under the above listed circumstances
     -     Last date of actual attendance by the student

Refund Schedule

Within three (3) business days:  100%
After three (3) business days, but before attending the first class:  100%, less $150 registration fee
After start of training, but before 50% completion:  Pro rata computed on number of hours scheduled to the date of cancellation/to the total program hours, less $150 registration fee
After completion of 50% of the program:  No Refund

All refund payments will be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of cancellation or termination of training.
